Traditional Art Favorites of 2011!
Another year is over and it's time for my annual art feature of works submitted in 2011!
This is both my favorite and the most difficult art feature to make. After going through thousands and thousands of works you can imagine how hard it was to pick just some.
Artworks were chosen by different combination of the following "criteria":
general impression • emotion conveying • meaning of the artwork • pure awesomeness • idea/concept • originality • complexity • technique • quality • subject • incredible realism • great style • everything else I forgot to write

WIPs on tumblr!Been thinking for months about uploading WIPs, pros and cons of it and where to upload them. I've been asked and I know many people like to see WIPs, so maybe it could give me that little push to not to procrastinate so much and finish my drawings faster, but that's pretty much it. Don't want my gallery/scraps flooded with them, I like to keep the element of surprise for my watchers, what if something goes wrong? + I'm not that comfortable showing something in progress.
In the end, I went for tumblr, to see what's all this fuss about it and as a place to upload WIPs. Sometimes. Without particular consistency or order. Whenever I manage to beat my hate for scanning the same piece more than once. Tumblrers can follow me and the rest will be given links to WIPs in the description after I upload the finished drawing on dA, or can bookmark my tumblr.

august feature-an im sorry featureyesterday was a free premium day where every one had pretty much premium membership for a day( i know self explanatory right) as you can see by my page i had added a few new things one being a section that was for permanent features  well.. by accident i deleted when i was editing stuff around not remembering i did , only to > tell every one that i featured them> go to sleep> wake up > and have some one who i featured tell me its not there... you dont know how embarrassed i am!!..i'm lol'ing as we speak..... so i figured i matter as well do another BIGGER feature and this time  feature a large amount of deviations of those who i  had on the permanent feature.. there  maybe others but the focus is on them . this feature will stay untill holiday times most likely november ....so there be mature content

Gone for a while + Feature Hi all! :icontardwaveplz:
Finals are coming up soon. I have 3 cumulative finals, 3 papers, 1 that tests on the 2nd half of the semester (so 2nd midterm? :confused:), and 1 online test. :crazy: Why I signed up for 8 classes is beyond me. :faint: Good part is, I'll be done with my bachelors degree in August (1 year early). :dummy: 
Anyways, I really have to start studying so I won’t log on to dA for a few weeks. Every time I log on, I'm like "30 minutes only" then I spend a few hours on here. I'm on Thanksgiving break right now, so I might be logging on a few times in the next couple of days but after that I won't log on again until December 16th. Not sure if I'll be able to handle life without dA. :tears: 
I also decided to do a giant feature. I figured if my profile page is going to remain the same for the next few weeks then it might as well serve a purpose so here’s some amazing art for you to look at and fav! :la: Take your time, it'll be here for a whi

I've done an extra large feature showing some of the wonderful artwork that I've faved on DA this year.
I've grouped them together into the different months that each piece was submitted, starting with some of the most recent art that I have faved in December and going right back to January (Sorry I couldn't fit everyone and everything I wanted into the feature, and there's less art featured for the first few months of the year as I was not too active around then, I was running out of space to fit them on this journal too).
I have tried not to repeat works that I have featured in previous journals and I wanted to feature some the art I hadn't featured before, but I also wanted to feature some of my favourite artists and some of the great people I know on DA too.

Sorry for the very very late 'Thank you' note, I'm in the middle of end-term exams and haven't had time to check my dA account for messages / new deviations / journal entries... sorry.
