Weekly Features!

Weekly Features are back! It's been a few years and it probably won't last, but hey. I miss the days when I'd feature dozens of works on a weekly basis and there were tons of people actually checking them out! Now it's hard to get 10 views on a Journal which makes features pointless, and it's also extremely hard to find new work to feature now due to all the changes, but for the next few weeks I'll do them anyway.

PMP is a website for traditional art reference photos only and artwork based on those photos. The site is outdated, not very user friendly etc., but there's tons of really amazing photos, many from professional photographers, worth the trouble of navigating the site.

Domestic animals and nature photos can also be found there. For multiple photo purchases, buying a "subscription" (a one-off payment) is recommended - it allows you to download 5 photos at great discount!

Stock & Resources | Artist Photo References


Many of my watchers are traditional artists themselves, always in search of a good reference photo, so here's info about free or for license photos I offer myself since photography (SweepingShadows) is one of my big hobbies too. 

Esmeralda-stock is my dA stock account where I offer free stock photos, textures and Ps brushes. There you can also find a crap ton of stock packs full of photos of the same subject from a different angle etc. with use as reference in mind. Quality varies from great, hi-res, sharp photos to not so great, but usable depending on each artist's minimum requirements and what they need them for. Free personal and commercial use if you follow my short and simple Terms of Use.

Pmp-art.com (aka PaintMyPhoto or PMP) is a website for traditional art reference photos only (and artwork based on those photos). The photos are free for personal and commercial use, just make sure to read and follow the site's Terms of Use. The site itself is outdated, not very user friendly etc, but don't let that stop you - there's tons of really amazing photos, many from professional photographers worth the patience of navigating the site. Here's my gallery on PMP. :note: You need to create a free account in order to view and download photos from the site.

Some photos from my dA stock and PMP overlap or are just very similar shots.

Domestic animals and nature photos can also be found. The website offers some of the most amazing, high quality, royalty-free wildlife reference photos and it's rather popular among professional artists and serious hobbyists! Etsy Shop - Original Drawings For Sale


I'm selling the great majority of my best old(er) drawings, fanart included, which I won't be drawing nor selling much in the future. I also have some more recent originals available. And some fine art prints, greeting cards...Currently there's free shipping on all originals! If interested in something, you can always check out my Etsy Shop or look for links in deviation descriptions.


Print Shops


I have some art prints and misc. merch. available on several print sites (Society6, InPrnt, RedBubble...). Includes my digital art and photography prints too. Links to my print shops can be found on my Profile (old dA only) or direct links can be found in the descriptions of drawings available as prints. And, as I already said, some prints will be enabled on dA too.


My Social Media Accounts

  • Instagram - currently my main "art site" where I'm most active and post my traditional art, WIPs etc.
  • Facebook - my art page, new followers that will actually engage with the page are much appreciated
  • Tumblr - art blog only, sharing new art and posting info about occasional Etsy sales etc.
  • Twitter - mostly used for art marketing purposes, sharing new art, retweeting art related content
  • YouTube - currently no content, but channel is there and I'm often present in art livestreams
