Oh, how I love the textures! It was so fun to draw this that I completed this drawing in just 2 days (double portraits usually take me much, much longer).
The movie cannot be compared to the book, no real, full characterization of the characters, everything was so much milder than it the book etc., etc., BUT Ralph Fiennes in a role of Heathcliff was brilliant! Did I mention before he's one of my top favorite actors?
After reading the "Wuthering Heights" book and watching the movie for the second time I just had to draw something. The book made a quite impression on me, it was so much different than everything I've read so far (and I've read a lot) it not that easy to read about so much cruelty and hatred, but all in all, it was a really really good book, one of my to favorite ever.
Wuthering Heights is my favorite book too and I do like that version of the film with Ralph Fiennes and Juliette Binoche. He looked really stunning with the long hair, I think that it suited him. Your drawings are great. All of them in your gallery. Good job.
Great drawing Im reading the book at the moment, and absolutely love it. It is a complete emotional rollercoaster to me. The first day I started it my fiancé could barely reach me the whole day Its great to both read and see from the drawing what you got out of both the book and movie. I especially love how you've captured the emotions of Ralph Fiennes. Absolutely gorgeous

awwww perfect! i love Ralph Fiennes in general but he was really excellent as Heathcliff, I thought. same goes for Juliette Binoche. gorgeous piece, i love this!
