ACEO (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) - 2.5 x 3.5“/63 x 89 mm, pencils on Bristol paper.
So, this is my supposed-to-be-an-entry for a contest, the informed ones can easily guess which one, but I didn't make it. Missed the deadline for "only" 6 days.
Anyway here it is, a close up nature drawing with this little fella as an extra detail. Hope you like it and yeah, looks better in reality, not a bit blurry like on the screen and more detail is visible. Now back to my A Storm of Swords book and my A3 drawing, the two things that should have been read and finished weeks ago.
ACEO stands for "Art Cards, Editions and Originals". These cards have one main rule - they are 3.5 inches by 2.5 inches - the size of a trading card. They can be original art, print editions or photographs. ACEOs may be made with any media, material, or method and they are made with the intention to sell, while ATCs (Artist Trading Cards) are usually traded or exchanged rather than sold.
