... is what gets you killed if you play the game of thrones.
Sean Bean as Eddard „Ned“ Stark, Lord of Winterfell and Warden of the North from „A Song of Ice and Fire“ series of books by G.R.R.Martin and „Game of Thrones“, a TV show based on the books.
ACEO (Art Cards, Editions and Originals) - 2.5 x 3.5“ / 63 x 89 mm.
So, this is the first one from my ACEO series related to GoT. Couple of them, one of Dany definitely, might be available for sale or trade with people I watch, this one's not. I was SO sure I won't draw anything GoT S01 related, BUT I watched it, loved it, currently reading the 5th book (big fan, one of top fav series ever!)...it just happened.
It seems like a damn waste of time when you spent so much of it with a neck pain and a bit of occasional light feeling of dizziness while trying to add all these tiny little details that now don't show on the scan, not to mention how everything looks much better in reality. Hate scanning miniatures.
It will be great to have a collection of portraits of at least some of the characters. Doubt I'd ever draw more than just a couple in a big size, so the miniatures are a great solution + it will be a great practice in drawing all this various stuff, like leather, fur, metal, fabric and all these tiny faces.

Oh wow, so many small details and that on a small ACEO card?! Are you insane? Well done though, it came out great. You managed to squeeze in all the details, and not make it look 'too much.' That's hard to do but you pulled it off!
Totally. I might have achieved "too much" with those that followed So now I'm just finishing up simple looking one but not nearly that simple to draw Thanks!
Haha I just opened the feature in another window Thank you very much! Btw, have you read the 5th book yet? If yes, were you surprised and do you even know at what I'm aiming when talking about it?
You're very welcome, hon! Nope, I still haven't finished the book yet (I'm on page 644) so I don't know what you're aiming at. Damn, you're making me more and more curious every time we talk about it!
Haha sorry, by the time you finally get to it there probably won't be anything surprising after me all blahblah about it, but it's related to a character dear to me, maybe to you to, so I wanted to ask you what do you think about it, what you guess will be in the end after that something unexpected

It's always hard to find a balance between too much and too little, especially when you're working on small surfaces.
