Cold Winter Journal Skin by Wicked-Illusion Cold Winter Journal Skin by Wicked-Illusion
:pointr: :pointr: :pointr: Live Preview

:note: Tested in Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and IE8
:note: The Comments link does not show on the preview, but it's here, see live preview.
:note: Due to dA's changes to Journals, the journal title might display in other color now instead of blue. To fix it, edit the Css. Find .journalbox .journaltop h2 {...}, copy-paste that whole part below and just add "a" like this .journalbox .journaltop h2 a{...}

Thank you SO much ginkgografix & namenotrequired for a DD! :glomp: It's a very pleasant surprise, especially because Journal Skin making isn't really what I'm known for. :D

If you'll be using this Skin, it would be nice if you faved or commented. I'm new at this Journal Skin making so any kind of support is much appreciated. ^^,

TERMS OF USE:

HEADER

menu
Edit Journal > Edit Skin > Skin Header - insert your own link names and links and click "Apply"

CONTENT

- insert the features you want your journal to have. You must erase all  _  from the brackets first, otherwise it won't work!

big title
<_div class="bigtitle">Your Title Here<_/div>

small title
<_div class="smalltitle">Your Title Here<_/div>

- I suggest you start writing the text right after <_/div>, in the same line, if you don't want too much space between your title and text. (it will show in a new line itself)

scrollbox
<_div class="boxtitle">Scrollbox Title<_/div><_div class="scrollbox">
Your Content Here <_/div>

thumbs
<_div class="thumbs">:thumbxxxxxx: :thumbxxxxxx: :thumbxxxxxx: ... <_/div>

- if you don't want to decorate your thumbs, simply don't use this code

textbox
<_div class="textbox">Your Content here<_/div>

list
<_li>list item<_/li><_li>list item<_/li><_li>list item<_/li><_li>list item<_/li>...

- this is no special feature, just something you maybe need
- it's important you write one code after another, using as many as you need
- they will show 1 per line automatically
<li>

Erm, you must write the code in the Journal content, not anywhere else, but glad you found this problem because it seems I was missing part of the code in the description to actually get a scrollbox. :D So now it should be fine.

Copy the new code, place it in the content where you want, add content within the scrollbox and that's it. If you don't want the scrollbox title, only scrollbox, erase this part <_div class="boxtitle">Scrollbox Title<_/div>

Let me know if you have any problems.

Oh, that's why your Journal looked familiar. For the future, you don't just take someone's Css without their permission OR credit and modify it for your own designs. It's called stealing the code and I can report you for that. My "You can modify the Css to suit your needs..." is meant for small tweaks in the Css, like font, font size, spacing etc., to make my design more to person's liking, not this. I won't report you because I decided so, but one day someone might if you continue doing this without asking for permission first for something like this.
