Celebrate DeviantArt's 15th Birthday! As DeviantArt enters its 15th year on the Internet, we want to take a moment before blowing out our candles to thank the community for allowing us the honor of hosting the site that you call your home for art. After all, it's the community's 15th birthday, too, and in the past few months, we've been making it our top priority to share with you our plans for the future, celebrate the successes of our past, and look to you for guidance on how best we can serve each of you while entering this new phase of DeviantArt's existence.

What does your username mean?
It has multiple potential meanings, darker ones, but nothing I can properly put into words, nor really want to. The inspiration for the "Wicked" part of my username came from the Weasley twins (HP) - something they're known to say occasionally, and "Illusion" followed. I've seen some people using it as username/title over the web, so always better confirm it with me if you think you found me on some website (for example, I'm not on Twitter). Actually, I named one of my old works "Wicked Illusion", so I've had this word combination in my head since 2008, but only started to use it as username on various websites a few years later.
Describe yourself in three words.
This is torture.
Are you left or right handed?
What was your first deviation?
submitted on January 29, 2007, BUT I can't be 100% sure this was the very first one because I had a LOT of old works deleted and have many in storage (though none older than this one)
What is your favourite type of art to create?
Traditional art: highly detailed, realistic graphite drawings.
If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
Probably semi-realistic style, some more creative looking and recognizable style, but actually I'd prefer more to instantly master a different type of art: digital painting/illustration, concept art, mainly the categories of fantasy art and landscapes & scenery.
What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
Traditional art (mainly various drawings in realistic style, including tons and tons of amazing fanart), digital art (digital paintings and photomanipulations), and photography.
Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
There are too many to list. Probably about 1/4 of my watch list.
If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
Several people I like and got to know better over the years, with whom I share same interests and love for various stuff, and with whom I communicate often/from time to time on dA and other sites.
How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
People on dA have impacted my life in many positive ways. I have found people who do what I do, who do what I want to do, people who I greatly admire and strive to be half as good as them one day, people who inspire me to work on my art and improve, people who share same or similar interests so there's always someone to talk about various stuff, discuss various issues, share love for art, support each other art, etc. At least on web, if not in real life, there are people I can talk about and discuss some stuff in great lengths.
What are your preferred tools to create art?
For traditional art: graphite pencils/mechanical pencils, kneaded and stick erasers, and paper. For digital art: Ps Cs 6, mouse, and tablet. For photography: Canon EOS 700D because that's the only SLR I have and have tried, kit lens, also the new, much better quality, zoom lens I'm about to buy very soon, reverse-lens ring adapter, close-up filter +8, and Ps Cs 6 for post process.
What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
Well...I don't think of it exactly as inspirational, but my room, I guess.
What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
Don't really have a single favorite memory, more like a period of time: those couple of years when everything was going pretty great, when I was creating a lot and often, when I still used to do digital art, and I was improving considerably, when I was more happy and pleased with my art, everything related to it, and the direction it was all going, when I was finally starting to get more recognition and received 'decent' feedback, when I used to participate in and won couple of contests, got my first DD on a work I was very pleased it got it, and when my favorite deviants and artists used to be very active here, as did I. Now pretty much everything's gone to sh*t, in almost all aspects and it's been so for such a long time now that I don't know if it's stupid to still hope things will change and ever get better again.
